I was out with my camera yesterday morning to catch the sunrise. As you can see, I had all my ducks in a row

I started the day on Lake Ontario. While hiking back to the car I saw this huge tree leaning out over a meadow. Talk about framing a picture!

Still, on my way back to the car, now a sunrise sun beam featuring a group of browning leaves

Later in the day Marilyn and I took the dogs for a hike in Short Hills Provincial park. To get home, we needed to travel through one of the hundreds of vineyards in the Niagara region.

Here comes retirement

The count down is certainly on now, just 12 more days of work until Saturday October 1, my last day of work. I’m looking forward to many days hiking, biking and playing with my camera and hanging out in Putt Putt.

In fact, on October 2 or 3 we head out with friends Gord and Laurie to Algonquin park in our RVs to catch the fall leaves. I have big plans for my camera and Marilyn is already selecting her favorite painting equipment.

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” Albert Camus

Thanks again for the read.
