Thanks Tinny

Our view through the windshield

Once again Tinny did a great job keeping us warm through the cold. He’s back in his usual spot under the bed resting up for the next time he is called.

Maybe while we are gazing out at the park now would be a good time to tell you more about it.

Pensacola Beach RV Resort is on the sound side of Santa Rosa island so those rv’s you see in the furthest row over there look right out on the sound.  If you were to look out our rear view mirror you would be gazing at hotels across the street from us and they are right on Pensacola Beach. The island is probably 20 miles long but for the most part, it’s very narrow.

That’s all this part of the island is; hotels, condos restaurants and bars with a few homes.  This is a different location for us, and probably for you too. To buy groceries you need to get on the bridge and drive a few miles in to Gulf Breeze.

Within 4 blocks of our site there are probably 30 or 40 beach bars and restaurants. It’s a good thing the Krulls aren’t here, because we could be in some major trouble. Actually we could be in major troubles ourselves but so far we have resisted. And if that’s not enough bars for you there are probably 20 liquor stores with all the essentials. We’ve resisted those as well.

Thanks to a few cold days we caught up on a lot of projects around the house. Projects that always get put off until? With a couple more cold days we might have finished the whole list. Is that possible? Do we ever get every job done?

We redid the valances so they match the new bed spread and pillows. That room is done!

Marilyn’s tablet is now working fine. Turns out it wasn’t the battery. It was the charging port. Once again we  she took them both apart, borrowed the part from our broken tablet and made the repair. Once again, I took a picture.

Here’s a few more shots of the park. I took the colorful but blurry  picture  the other night while barbecuing. That’s a couple of the hotels I mentioned
