Lets clear up the confusion. You are still you and I’m still me. This is the same old blog, just trying on a different outfit. Seems to me to be close to the right size, not too long in the legs. Maybe it makes my ass look a little t0o fat, but then, have you seen my ass lately? Speaking of fat, it fits pretty good around the middle.

It still requires some work: The picture in the header will be one ours, we need to widen some of the columns, stuff like that. It still has the comments section that I love so much. I don’t always reply but I do read all your comments.

In fact here’s your chance. Look it all over, let me know what you think. Let’s not forget that “comments section”. Fire away, tell me what you think. What do you like? What’s not working?

Notice the new header? How about the spots for your comments under every post? I wanted to add that so we could have a little more of a conversation. I’m thinking I’m getting tired of doing all the talking.

8,000

Some time a little later this week there will be a number 8,000 on the bottom of this blog. Scroll down if you want, have a look right now. As I write this the number is 7933. I started this thing in December, 2007 when my son Jason put it together for me for a Christmas present, I added the Site Meter and it started counting in February of the following year.

So what that means is that someone has clicked on this blog about 8,000 times in the last year and a half or so. Is that a big number you ask? No, it’s not. Yahoo probably has that many visits in a milli-second.

I’m honored though, I really appreciate all my regular readers and my once in a life time visitors. I enjoy telling and re-reading my stories, your comments and emails.

So as the week wears on and the numbers continue to, ever so slowly, climb, once again let me say:

Thanks for the read.

Who ever thought that a blog could be a gift that just keeps on giving!

Look what pulled in while we were at Betty’s RV Park in Abbeville. The truck is a 1965 White, while the trailer is a 1946. Yes, nineteen fourty six. Bob and Jan Vanden Berge have done a great job of making a very liveable home out of this very distinctive combination. Want to know more? Why not visit their web site right here.
