Small World

Larry and Dianne, meet Larry and Marilyn

Another day, another place. We left the Walkabout yesterday, right behind Rick and Elaine. Half an hour down the road, they swing to the right to their next adventure and we roll off to the left, back to the Atlantic coast. We are no sooner set up in Bulow RV Resort when our next door neighbors come over “What part of Ontario are you guys from?” Dianne asks. Turns out they used to live a half hour away from us, they full-time in their fifth wheel and oh, yeah, there’s one more thing: His name is Larry. Great name! He must be a great guy.

Flagler Beach

They call the beaches in this area the Cinnamon coast and it’s not hard to figure out why. The sand is not only a different color, it’s more coarse, and even the shells are different. Darn! Now we have more beach exploring to do. Will it never end?

Today is a big day in this Vanstone house.Today my bride turns 60. In her mind she’s getting older. In my mind she is still the sweet young thing I married 33 years ago. OK that’s BS. But truthfully, she is still 8 years younger than me.

Happy Birthday Babe.

“Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.”  ? Larry Lorenzoni

  1. We wish Marilyn a very happy birthday. Perhaps you should play geek god again. And tell her she doesn’t look a day over 39.
