RV Renovations

Our motorhome is a 2006 and quite frankly it was starting to look a little 2006’ish. No matter how often we cleaned them the carpets were looking a little tired, and the day/night shades were getting crankier everyday.

This summer, before our dogs and truck all broke,  we decided it was to to renovate, so off we went to a tile store and then to a local blind store. I will say this, my lady has an eye for color. I think it turned out pretty good.

The downside with the tile is that every speck of dirt shows on the light colored floor, but the upside is that it is so easy to clean up. Just get out the broom and in seconds it looks brand new.
I admit I was a little concerned about problems including cracking tiles or slides malfunctions because of the tiles but now after a couple of thousand miles on our newly reno’ed coach I’m happy to say(so far) there are no major issues.
The new blinds make a big difference too. Everybody I know swears at their day/nights. These new ones ( we got them at a blind store) keep the light out when you want it dark and do a great job of insulating out the heat or the frost.
2 years ago Marilyn sewed new front curtains and she is currently working on sewing a new bedspread.
We think it looks like a brand new 2016 model.
