Yesterday, thanks to Tom, we looked down on Boomerville. Today we look up at him as he flys overhead. I’ll bet you he gets some great views from up there, as he floats around about 100 feet off the ground.
Had a visit yesterday from friends Dale and Sheila and they brought along Glen and Myrna. We knew Dale and Sheila were coming up from Yuma but the Wiebes were a complete surprise. We always have a great time with both couples and yesterday was certainly no exception.
I took this shot from an old open pit gold mine about a mile away from Boomerville and about 500 feet higher. There a couple of buildings in this picture but the rest of those white dots are all RV’s parked in the desert, the closest bunch is where we are parked.. Heres an excercise for you. Count the RV’s you see here, then multiply by about 15 or 20, add a few thousand more for good measure and you’ll get some idea how many rigs are out here in the desert. And a few hundred more pour in every hour.

Once again, let me thank you for reading the Amazing Vanstones.

Don’t know about you but the desert here can be very addictive, great pictures!
Looks like some beautiful days over in Q, enjoyed the pictures. Always nice catching up with friends.
great days for sure…maybe someday we’ll do that area..for now its on our todo list
