Man at Work

Play time is over. Work time has begun.

For the last 6 months, while you could always find me on my cell phone or watching my email, the odds of finding me anywhere near Sicard RV in Smithville, Ontario were exactly zero.

As of yesterday I ‘m back at it so now for the next 26 weeks or so, your chances improve to 50/50 as Wayne and I ease back in to our summer job share schedule where we work a week, play a week, then repeat until mid October or so when we go our separate ways for the winter.

After just one day the first results are I enjoyed it and am looking forward to going back again today.

Some would question the connection between what I do when I’m “working ” and the real word “work.” Let’s face it, all I do while there working at Sicard RV is talk with interesting people about RV’s and RVing. I’m sure you will agree, that’s not at all that different from what I do the rest of the year when I’m not “working”. Still, there is a certain satisfaction when folks say “Larry, that’s the one we want”. It’s then I realize we have one more couple to keep our eyes open for as we travel the highways of North America. It’s always neat to catch up with customers after they’ve been RVing for a while and you hear the new neat stories they have to tell. I don’t know many people who don’t love their RV’s. It’s especially fun when we meet in an RV park out there somewhere.

Anyway, it’s all good. You will be happy to know that there are already a couple of new RVing couples heading out there to enjoy the lifestyle and over the next 6 months I’ll do my best to make sure there’s a big bunch more.

If you know somebody looking for a new or newer RV, or just has some questions about RV’s or the lifestyle, please do us both a favor and give them my cell number, 905 730 0761, or my email address . You know I’ll look after them and make sure they are treated right.
