Lost In Mississippi

Actually, I only wish we were lost in Mississippi.

Since we’ve arrived here at Paul B Johnson State Park we have been treated to an amazing site (how can you miss when you’re in site 69?), mid 70’s weather every day, great scenery and total relaxing peace of mind for three wonderful days. Tomorrow though, we hitch up and head out to begin a three day journey to visit friends, Tom and Lois Corbett, in Rockport Texas where we will settle for a week.

After that, other than somewhere warm, who knows.

Once we had confirmed that grand baby Evie and parents were all healthy we hung around just a couple more days and left Grimsby bright an early on November 23. The first two nights we were hosted by our friends at Walmart but our third day we’d had enough blacktop and settled in to  Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch and RV Park in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee to rest up before a couple more days to here.

I don’t know if you can tell but there’s something different with this blog this time. For the first time ever it is being created on my tablet and so far, from this end at least, its all going pretty good. I look forward to your comments.

The other difference is that I am creating this work of art while sitting in a zero gravity chair on the patio you see in my first photo. Mare is sitting right next to me and just made an announcement that means  I need to wind up right away now. She just reminded me that it’s Happy Hour.

As always, thanks for the read and “Cheers!”
