It’s Been A While

See you in the spring Grampa

See you in the spring Grampa

Months in fact.  It’s not that I don’t love you anymore, honest. I guess We’ve just been busy.
We’ve had another great fun summer here at 50 Point.

I’ve done my usual job share where I work a week, then play a week, and repeat. Marilyn has been busy with her Perfect Pockets, accounting and sewing.  She’s done everything but paint, and hopes to look after that during the winter. We have had a bunch of  great times with our family, even got to spoil a grandson on our own a few times. We’re already looking  forward to more of that spoiling stuff come next summer.

Come on Evie!

Come on Evie!

In fact, here it is, mid November and we are still hanging around 50 Point.

We’re usually out of here by mid October but this year we’re still here, braving near freezing temperatures, all because our daughter Pam and hubby James are expecting their first child, a grand daughter to add to the family. And you know we wouldn’t miss that

It’s all good though, we are a lot more comfortable then one of our neighbors here at 50 Point

Stay tuned, we hope to be back with big news real soon.

“Patience, grasshopper,” said Maia. “Good things come to those who wait.”
“I always thought that was ‘Good things come to those who do the wave,'” said Simon. “No wonder I’ve been so confused all my life.”
