Good Friends

So yesterday afternoon we are in DeAnza RV Park, in Amado, just north of Nogales when four familiar RV’s pull in, just in time for happy hour.
Bob and Marjorie, Roger and Suzie, Don and Barb & Gord and Pat just rolled in from Mexico,
After three hard days on the road from Mazatlan they were all a little weary but happy to be back on more familiar soil. Sounds like everyone had a great winter on the beaches of Stone Island. It was a great party, good to see them all again.

Taking care of business

Earlier yesterday we are rolling down Arizona 87 and come upon a flag man and road construction. As we are waiting for the pilot car a truck towing a trailer with a “Johnny on the spot” shows up. The driver of the truck comes back to the flagman who hands off his stop sign. The original flagman hurries off to the toilet. He obviously had to sit down for this one, he was gone a long time. He returns, gets back his sign, the truck and potty head off down the road and traffic begins to move. We’re guessing they all lived happily ever after.
