I get forwards, you get forwards, we all get lots of forwards but this has to be one of the best I’ve gotten in a long time. I just had to share it.

Yesterday after we got the dogs checked out it off we went to Niagara Tire And Battery to get a new tire for the truck. While they were doing the work, we were walking around enjoying the beautiful day when I spotted the tires around the telephone post. I walked around that post 3 or 4 times. Those tires either went on the post before it went in the ground or ….?

So the next time you need tires or tire repairs and you are in the St Catherines area,  stop in. They’re quick, reasonable and they do good work.

And you can ask about the tires around the post.

At least we hope it’s this week. If we get into our coach this Thursday, and thats the current plan, it will  mean that my sweety has  been waiting onlyabout 10 weeks to get into her new home. She is truly a patient woman.

Whe had a bit of  a delay when the previous owners had a small  health issue, so there went a couple of weeks, then the coach sat in the yard at  Sicard’s  waiting to get into service to get prepped (we are busy) Finally it seems my “To Do” list for the techs was a little longer than usual (it is going to be our home right) and then last week,  as the time drew nearer, it was either we got our coach on time or a customer got theirs. Guess who won?

Anyway, everything looks on track for this Thursday afternoon.

Now I’m thinking maybe we should have gone for this one.

My neighbor Ken who lent me his mousetraps and offered me great advise emailed me  this video this morning. It kind of puts my 3 day struggle with mice  in perspective. Fortunately this is not my mouse, at least not so far.

Let me set this one up: After our visit with Gwen and Clark we are preparing to leave Hanna . They have a cooked chicken we are to take with us. Marilyn asks me if I brought the chicken in last night (as in brought from their house to our motohome and put in our fridge). Now after a total of 45 years of marriage (not all to the same woman, but the basic rules of marriage always apply) I won’t repeat what I thought, but what I said was “I’m not your chickenman’ and immediatley flashed back over 40 years to Chickenman, he’s everywhere, he’s everywhere!

 Where that came from I don’t know, but wow, I loved Chickenman, he was and maybe still is, my hero. I think Chickenman changed the way I look at life. In fact, when I think about it, all sorts of things are starting to make sense.

You see I’m about to be  ”Z” endorsed.  I was going to join the Free Masons, or maybe the Elks (some Elks Clubs have Free RV parking for members) but finally I chose to be Zed endorsed.  Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.

What the hell is that all about you ask? In Ontario (they talk funny here) you have a Z endorsment on your driving license when you are qualified to drive a vehicle with Air Brakes. In other jurisdictions where they speak better English they would say that I had an Air  Brake Endorsement.
